My new room! Finally!

It took ages for the construction of Aaron's basement to get done,
it took maybe six weeks longer than planned, but it sure looks great!

Get Ready for Lots of Pictures:)

The Babysittitng room in my bedroom...

see, they love it in there, I'll babysit anytime :)

Kimball's favorite thing to do in my room besides touching my I pod and lamp and exercise ball is to get into my bed after I make it and snuggle in the covers and all my blankets.

My wonderful piano even fits!

No, I only have one computer, anyone want to buy me a new laptop? Please?

Nauvoo visit with Staci

Sister Harding, Sister Christenson and I at the Nauvoo Pageant. I served with them in 2007 and they were crazy enough to go back in 2008. (Kind of like how I was crazy enough to go back in 2007.)
I have a bit of a fasination with corn fields
Look at us driving past all the corn!
Staci enjoys driving home through miles of corn fields from Nauvoo,
especially when I am in the car with her:)
While I was in Nauvoo I was able to go through the temple to recieve my own endowments.
It was a great experience to do that in Nauvoo with my parents.
Staci and I outside the temple.

The Joseph Smith Academy used to be here, it was torn down last year. The view is much better in front of the temple without it, though the building was like one of my homes in Nauvoo.
Some pretty flowers Staci helped to plant in Nauvoo.

Pics From Illinois Trip

Me trying to skip rocks, I learned how to on this river.

Staci and I had a blast trying to get this picture right,
you notice it was light out when we started...

We are sad because the stage to Sunset by the Mississippi is gone.

Where the stage used to be.

So happy

Summer 2008 Part 4: Illinois Nauvoo Trip

Pics to come soon!

I made a trip out to Illinois this summer mainly to see Staci and spend some time with her before she got married. Unfortunately she was in Nauvoo so that was a bit distracting for me because I love Nauvoo! It was so fun to visit Staci and see what she has been working on all summer in Nauvoo. We picked up her wedding dress while I was there. She was so beautiful and was just glowing the whole time I was there, anxiously awaiting Kyle's arrival. We spent a day in St. Louis visiting the botanical gardens there with her boss, fellow intern, and missionary couple. It was so great to spend time with Staci! We also went to Sunset by the Mississippi (which is no longer by the Mississippi), High Hopes and Riverboats, and to the Nauvoo Pageant. I also got to see the 2008 Nauvoo Brass Band and visit with the sisters who returned this Summer to Nauvoo. Also while in Nauvoo, I was able to go to the temple with my parents, a very special experience.

Gisel's Wedding Reception

Me, Faby Ramos, Gisel Ramos Lance, and Melissa

Gisel got married the same day I graduated. I was technically a bridesmaid though we didn't really do much. I did arrange her bouquets though.

Gisel's Bridal Shower

One of my very best friends, Gisel, got married in April, this is a picture of the two of us at a bridal shower hosted by her mother-in-law with all her new in-laws.

Summer 2008 Part 3: Rodeo, Fourth of July, etc.

For Independence Day we went to the Provo Freedom Festival, Parade, Ward BBQ, and of course fireworks. The Provo Fourth of July Parade is the biggest I've seen in person. We had lots of fun celebrating.
Me, Aric, Devon and Whitney, Jacque and Rob, and Rosanne.

My ward got tickets for a rodeo in Lehi! It was my first rodeo and was a lot of fun!

Another fun thing I did at the beginning of the summer was tubing down the Provo River. Well, it wasn't much fun at the time. It was too early in the year so it was freezing cold. It was quite miserable but at the same time it was an adventure for me so I am glad I went. Scott convinced us to go. Rosanne missed out cause she had to work. I went with Scott, Heidi, Heidi's brother, her friend, and Whitney. Towards the beginning when I was still figuring out how to steer, I ran into the side of the bank and got sucked under some tree branches, I thought I was going to die but I made it out with only of few scratches on my face.
