Nauvoo Pictures

Printing Office

Sister Nunamaker and I worked in the Printing office giving tours the last two months.

Staci Visit's Nauvoo

Staci came down to visit me in Nauvoo and add some excitement to my life. Here is a picture of us down at the Nauvoo pageant site. The corn grows pretty fast around here. This a picture from my bedroom doorway...

Fun times in Nauvoo

Sister Phillips and I after our ox cart ride. Me reading Jesus the Christ on a lunch break in my band uniform. The corn continues to grow. We all enjoyed it when mom would send down cookies.

Giving Tours in the Scovil Bakery

Sister Taylor and I served in the Scovil Bakery in Historic Nauvoo giving tours for the first two months in Nauvoo. We took a picture of the growing corn every week on the walk home after our shift. Here is a picture of the Nauvoo Temple plate. Lucius Scovil had 150 of these plates commissioned to be made during his mission to England, this is one of the orginals. Around the outside are the names of the leaders of the church of the time, including our ancestor, Heber C. Kimball.

Nauvoo Mission Pics

Here are a few pictures I took while in Nauvoo. This is me with my first companion, Sister Julieanne Taylor, she is a friend from my ward at school. Here is a picture of our small kitchen at lunchtime when all twelve of us sisters lived together in one house. Here is the twelve of us band sisters when we went to visit Carthage Jail.
